The third WCR Winter Warm Up in Palm Springs this weekend was tons of laid-back, rubbered-up fun. We were at Helios Resort again this year and the guys were accommodating as always, and that playroom! More on that later.
Most of us decided to gear up on Friday night and head out to dinner at Hamburger Mary's. We turned more than a few heads on the street for sure. Our waiter was our instant favorite when he brought Rubber Fiend's water in a chartreuse dog dish with a straw. We even had the strippers from Hunter's Video Bar ready to ditch their gigs and come home with us for some show and tell.
I had to head out to the car to grab the camera, cause you know you need to document these things! When I was got back to Mary's I overheard a woman on her mobile saying "...and they're all dressed up in vinyl! Yeah..even the puppy!"

Later Friday it was Rub(ber) My Balls at the Barracks Bar. We got out the vac rack for some suction fun and painted up L8XBoy with some liquid rubber. Good crowd...good fun...nice way to start the weekend.
Saturday started off low key and then we eased in to the Wet Willie Pool Party. Oddly though we weren't in the pool all that much! We were too busy trying out each other's toys like b*ndage suits and straight jackets and yards of plastic wrap and various CBT tools. Just ask us sometime about the fun to be had with 40 jelly rings and a bungee cord. Basically we just played all afternoon.
After our power naps we geared up again and headed out for the Full Rubber Dinner at Boscoso's. Not bad..a few hiccups with the service but pretty yummy all around. Cool part was the couple from way up north in Canada, next to Alaska, who were compelled by our shiny fabulousness to come over and get photos with us. Like she said, "We just don't get this kind of stuff back home!" We tried to get her to leave the hot hubbie but it wasn't happening.
Saturday night we got out the big guns so to speak for the Full Rubber Play Party. Wow! Lot of fun play. Turns out a couple of guys had put together a "things I'd like to do at Warm Up" list and we were happy to knock a few of those off. Everybody played till about 2 and then crashed with happy smiles.
Sadly, Sunday morning it was back to reality but more than a few guys couldn't resist one last push for the gear. The infamous white catsuit with open face hood and matching white gasmask was hot! Especially teamed up with Paul's red straight jacket. Ahhh....nice send off.
Big thanks to everybody who joined in. This was the best Warm Up ever. Oh, and yeah...pics are on the way. We had a photographer around most of the weekend and he definitely got some money shots!
